About me
I currently serve as Senior Director and the Head of Immunology and Inflammation Submission Writing at Pfizer. I obtained my PhD in Cell Biology from Vanderbilt University and have more than 20 years of experience in technical/medical writing and management. For the majority of my career to date, I managed contract medical writers for a CRO. In this role, I selected and trained approximately 200 writers to form one of the largest contract writing teams in the industry. Prior to being a medical writer, I served as an editor for scientific literature databases, a regulatory affairs consultant, and a clinical research associate. I am based near Houston, Texas, with my husband and three children.
