About me
Valerie J. Parker is an Assistant Research Director at the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy. Valerie manages one of the institute’s cooperative agreements with the US FDA as well as oversees a core workstream of the institute’s Real-World Evidence Collaborative, where she focuses on international regulatory efforts to harmonize RWD and RWE standards. She’s been with the institute for a combined total of four years, where she has collaborated and led projects on topics such as: AI; digital health and data; rare diseases; and pharmacology. Previously, Valerie has worked with Amgen and Epic Systems Corporation. She holds a master of science in Global Health and a bachelor of arts in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.
