Sharleen Traynor is an epidemiologist and educator with 20 years of public health experience in government and academic settings. In her current role as Director of the Clinical Trials Research Associate program at Durham Technical Community College, Dr. Traynor now focuses on clinical research workforce development efforts. She oversees the training and education of students pursuing careers in clinical research, ensuring they not only meet research competencies and professional standards, but also advocate for patient-centric approaches and community engagement throughout the research process.
