About me
Xiaoyu Cai is an Associate Director, Biostatistics at Insmed, Inc. Prior to joining Insmed, she served for seven years as a Mathematical Statistician at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Office of Biostatistics, within the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. She earned her Ph.D. in Statistics from The George Washington University in 2018. Dr. Cai has extensive experience in statistical review and research related to clinical trials for hematologic diseases and chemistry/biotechnology studies. Her research interests include Bayesian methods for small clinical trials, RWE/RWD, rare disease trial design, missing data imputation, adaptive designs, biosimilar and bioequivalence testing, and product quality assessment.
