Nathan Brown leads the FDA practice at Akin LLP. Drawing upon his diverse health care industry and governmental experience, Nathan provides his clients with strategic, practical advice on cutting-edge regulatory, compliance, enforcement, and policy matters. He has worked extensively in the FDA regulatory field and also on coverage and reimbursement matters, with a particular focus on the med tech and diagnostics industries. He also represents clients on due diligence and regulatory issues related to corporate transactions. He previously served in prominent roles at FDA and on the Senate HELP Committee. He is a member of the Food and Drug Law Journal editorial board and an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law.
