About me
Md Rashedul Islam is an undergraduate researcher at Queensborough Community College, City University of New York, majoring in Computer Science & Information Security. As a 2024–2025 CUNY Research Scholars Program scholar, he conducts research in medical & radiation physics, focusing on affordable cancer treatment. He has presented at CUNY-wide symposiums & mentored high school students through the CUNY Research Foundation. He volunteers at the Kupferberg Holocaust Center & serves as Senator of the Physics and Engineering Club. In 2024, he completed DOE Core training for Radiological Control Technicians through UTTA with a practicum at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was named to the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa All-New York Academic Team.
