Mr. Sadikin was the Vice Minister I of State-owned Enterprises and tasked to establish market leading and globally competitive state-owned enterprises. From July 2020 until December, 22nd 2020, he lead the National Economic Recovery and Transformation Task Force amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. On December 23rd, 2020, he was appointed by the President of Republic of Indonesia as the Minister of Health to to lead the COVID-19 vaccination program for the nation and improve health services and Reappointed as Minister of Health in the new administration on October 21, 2024.
