About me
Julie Patterson, PharmD, PhD, is Senior Director of Research and Director of the NPC Enterprise Lab at the National Pharmaceutical Council. She designs and conducts policy-relevant research related to sustainable access to innovative biopharmaceuticals, often focusing on incentives in the healthcare system, patient access, and government price regulation. Prior to joining NPC, she served as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacoeconomics and Health Outcomes at the VCU School of Pharmacy. In her academic role, she directed an extensive research program in pharmacoeconomics, drug value and pricing, and patient preferences. Dr. Patterson earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and PhD from the VCU School of Pharmacy.
