About me
James D. Chambers, PhD, MPharm, MSc, is an Associate Professor at the Tufts Medical Center Institute for Clinical Research and Health Policy Studies. His research interests include examining the factors that influence how insurance companies cover and reimburse medical technology and the use, and potential value, of cost-effectiveness in the U.S. health care system. He leads the Tufts Medical Center Specialty Drug Evidence and Coverage (SPEC) Database and the Medicare National Coverage Decisions (NCD) Database.
