Hangyu (Cedric) Liu is currently a Senior Manager, Data Scientist at Biogen's R&D Quality & Compliance team. He obtained a Master's degree in Data Science from Brown University, which ignited his passion for this field. Prior to joining Biogen, he worked as a Data Scientist in both the life science and eCommerce industries. Cedric’s work involves analyzing structured tabular data and unstructured text data to identify patterns and trends that can improve GxP compliance. With his expertise in machine learning and statistical analysis, he developed models that efficiently recognize recurring GxP quality issues, automatically tag adverse events mentioned in patient phone calls, forecast patient enrollment rates, study milestones, and more.
