Mrs Mercy Owusu-Asante is a pharmacist with an MSc in Pharmaceutical Services and Medicines Control obtained from the University of Bradford, UK. In the area of personal professional development, Mercy is pursuing a PhD in Regulatory Science at the University of Herfordshire, UK. Her far-reaching objective includes collaborating with other relevant public health professionals to develop capacity within the medical industry to ensure that Ghana and the West African region realise their goal of meeting the health needs of their citizens by ensuring that safe, quality, and efficacious medicines are readily available.
