Mayur Patel is an experienced drug developer and pharmacovigilance professional with over 25 years in biopharmaceutical industry. Currently, Dr. Patel is the Vice President Global Patient Safety in the Oncology Therapy Area at AstraZeneca based in the US. Over his career, he has managed complex safety issues with significant impact to patients at all stages of product lifecycle from early development through commercialization for numerous compounds in different therapeutic areas and utilizing different treatment modalities Dr. Patel has been a member of the Transcelerate PV Steering Committee since 2017 and sponsor for several Transcelerate workstreams.
