About me
Following her PhD in cell biology studying the molecular mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis and therapy resistance, Alysha Croker joined the Canadian Institutes of Health Research in 2013 as an analyst. Since then, she has taken on a number of leadership roles managing high profile science policy and research files, including managing the Canada Excellence Research Chair and the Canada First Research Excellence Fund programs. Alysha joined Health Canada in 2019 as the manager of the Office of Paediatrics and Patient Involvement, a role which involves developing ways to increase access to safe and effective drugs and devices for children and youth in Canada, and integrating the patient voice throughout the drug and device lifecycles.
