About me
Katie Bloom, Executive Director of Program and Portfolio Management with over 25 years of industry experience. Currently, she co-leads the Program Management Office at Ultragenyx. Ultragenyx is a biopharmaceutical company committed to bringing novel products to patients for the treatment of serious rare and ultrarare genetic diseases. Prior to Ultragenyx, Katie held various leadership roles at Genzyme and Immunogen, Inc. She started out as a Quality Control Manager at Genzyme and expanded into Program Management, leading the development of a Program Management Office at Immunogen, Inc. Katie is a member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and enjoys painting, watching Boston sports and traveling with her three children.
