About me
Qian Tang is a Ph.D. candidate in Statistics at the University of Iowa, specializing in machine learning, optimization, and statistical computation. Her research focuses on developing efficient algorithms for analyzing high-dimensional data, with applications in statistical learning and data analysis. Qian has published her work in top-tier conferences like ICML and has developed R packages to support advanced statistical methods. In addition to her academic achievements, Qian has gained industry experience as an ORISE Fellow at the FDA and a Biostatistics Intern at Novartis, further strengthening her expertise in clinical trial methodology.
