Elizabeth Jungman, J.D., M.P.H., recently left the Food and Drug Administration, where she was Chief of Staff. Prior to that role Ms. Jungman was the Associate Center Director for Policy and Director of the Office of Regulatory Policy in FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Prior to joining FDA, she directed the public health programs at The Pew Charitable Trusts. She also served as Senior Health Policy Adviser with the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, which involved negotiating FDA-related legislation. Ms. Jungman earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard College, law degree from Georgetown University, and a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins.
