Dr. Dionna J. Green is Director of the US Food and Drug Administration Office of Pediatric Therapeutics, a congressionally mandated office whose mission is to assure access for children to innovative, safe, and effective medical products. She leads an organization responsible for spearheading, coordinating, and facilitating cross-cutting activities of the US FDA in the areas of pediatric health and product development, ethics, neonatology, rare diseases, pharmacovigilance, international collaboration, regulatory science, and education and outreach. Dr. Green holds a medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine, is trained in pediatric medicine and clinical pharmacology, and has over 15 years’ experience as a regulator.
